My Dad Is An Alcoholic And I Dont Know What To Do

My Dad Is An Alcoholic And I Dont Know What To Do (your message has been moved from 'Your Stories' so others can see you have joined online community and welcome you)Ever since I could remeber my dad has drank. He will become very violent and he would be mentally and physically abbusive. At one point in time I was at a friends house and he was coming to pick me up after work,so I was getting in his truck and I asked him what was in the cooler and he said its crap, well 10 minutes later he pulled out a beer and the entire thing was packed full with beer. On the weekends he would drink 24 to 30 beers a day. Also, when he was drunk one time I asked him when my birthday was and he said tomorrow well it wasnt for another three months. My parents got a divorce and he went over the top with drinking. He was living with my uncle next door and I would go over and visit him but I had to stand outside for 5 or 10 minutes so he could get rid of all his beer cans. It went on like that for a month or two and then things started to get worse. Before he wouldnt take beer to work but now he started to take it and he would sit out in his truck and drink it for lunch. He said he stopped but when I went to his house one week for a suprise he wouldnt let me in the house I had to see him through a window and his eyes were all glassy and blood shot just like they look when he gets drunk. I could smell the beer through the window and it was very strong. We havnt talked in awhile because I cant stand the fact that he says he not drinking when I know he is. My brother lives with him and I worry every night are they going to get into a fight or not. I live with my mom and things got alot better stress wise but I worry alot about my brother. He wants me to come and see him all the time but if I try to suprise him by coming to hi shouse I dont know if I will be able to be in the house or not because he always has different girls over and it feels like hes chosing them over me. If I do talk to my dad then it usually ends up in a fight and we wont talk for awhile then it keeps going on and on like that. I am 11 years old and my fathers and alcoholic.
